Hikon Plastic Film Squeezer Dryer Machine

The HIKON Plastic Film Squeezer Dryer is built to solve one of the biggest headaches in film recycling: moisture. Specifically designed for wet LDPE and HDPE scraps, this machine takes washed film and prepares it for the extruder in one efficient step.

Instead of wasting power on expensive hot-air dryers or traditional agglomerators, our squeezer uses a heavy-duty screw to mechanically force out every drop of water. The friction creates just enough heat to leave you with bone-dry, high-density material that’s ready for immediate pelletizing. With capacities up to 500 kg/hr, it’s a rugged, energy-saving powerhouse that simplifies your workflow and reduces operating costs.

Introduction

The HIKON Plastic Film Squeezer Dryer Machine is engineered for recycling washed, wet LDPE, LLDPE, and HDPE film scraps. It efficiently removes 100% of moisture, eliminating the need for agglomeration, electric heater-based drying systems, and conventional mechanical drying methods. The result is dried, high-bulk-density film scrap ready for direct feeding into extrusion and pelletizing lines.

Output Range

  • 150 kg/hr
  • 300 kg/hr
  • 500 kg/hr

Working Principle

  1. Feeding – Wet plastic film scrap is loaded into the Squeezerr.
  2. Compression – A heavy-duty screw compresses and Squeezers the wet material, removing excess water.
  3. Friction & Auxiliary Heating –
    • Mechanical squeezing generates frictional heat.
    • Integrated heaters ensure uniform and complete drying.
  4. Discharge – Dried film scrap with near-zero moisture is discharged, ready for pelletizing or extrusion.

Key Features

  • Moisture Removal – Delivers ~0% moisture output.
  • No Agglomerator Needed – Saves energy and eliminates an extra processing step.
  • Heater-Assisted Drying – Ensures faster and uniform drying.
  • Energy Efficient – Lower operating costs compared to hot-air dryers.
  • Improved Bulk Density – Enhances extrusion and pelletizing throughput.
  • Rugged Design – Built for heavy-duty continuous operations.

Advantages

  • Eliminates the need for costly hot-air dryers and agglomerators.
  • Reduces electricity consumption per kg of output.
  • Delivers consistent, dry, high-bulk-density film flakes.
  • Increases overall productivity and granule quality.
  • Compact and easy-to-install for recycling plants.
